Commonwealth Games 2010 Opening Ceremony is going to be at 7 pm on 3 October 2010.Also Sonia Gandhi to attend CWG grand opening ceremony. As sources says Around 7,000 men, women and children will take part in the opening ceremony which is divided into 6 sections: Rhythm of India, Swagatam, Tree of Knowledge, Yoga, Great Indian Journey and AR Rahman’s rendition of the CWG anthem “Jiyo Utho Badho Jeeto”.

This event will be attended by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh along with International Olympic Committee President Jacques Rogge, a special invitee.
