G Gambhir and Sehwag launched attack on Australian bowlers. G Gambhir got out after scoring 25 runs while Sehwag made half century before he got out just before the end of the play. He scored 59 runs. At the end of day 2 play India were 110 for the loss of two wickets. Dravid and night watch man I Sharma are two not out batsmen for India.
