IRCTC Beta Version Site for Online Railway Ticket Booking | IRCTC Online Ticket Booking Oline
IRCTC is one of the busiest e-commerce website in Asia. Due to the high traffic and number of people using the website, IRCTC has launched a new betaversion which is much faster access over the older version of IRCTC Online Ticket Booking Engine. The new Beta version launched has much user friendly interface, it has fewer advertisements and graphics used are also attractive.

Below is the screen shot of how beta version of IRCTC site be used for online railway ticket booking.
Step 1: If you have logged on to http://www.irctc.co.in/ then see click on “Try new interface – Beta” and you will be directed to new URLhttp://www.irctc.co.in/cgi-bin/beta.dll/irctc/services/home.do
Step 2: In new Beta version site enter your login details same as old site and get logged in.
Step 3: When you logged in the beta site you will see the below screen where in you can enter details in Plan my Travel engine. You have an option of “Quick Book” which allows you to enter data and book the ticket in a single screen.
Step 4: In the Quick Book Screen, you have the details like Train Details, Passenger Details and Payment Modes so that in a single shot you can book the ticket.
