Bharat Bandh and Nationwide Public Sector Bank Strike on 7th September – is this serious enough? Tomorrow there is going to be ‘Bharat Bandh’ . The strike call is from Maoists and the reason is not declared yet behind this bandh. The bandh will be observed in all over India. The bandh usually take place to protest against something. The bandh is considered as a weapon of public to raise their voice against Government policies and actions. The Emegency services will be kept out of Bharat bandh going to take place tomorrow i.e. 7 September. Most interesting feature of this bandh is that Congress affiliated INTUC would participate in the 7 September Bharat Bandh.
Not only the bandh India will also observe a strike from the employees of public sector banks . The strike is against the govt measures to welcome more private companies into the banking sector
Perivious Bandh took palce on Monday July 5, 2010. And the Bandh was called by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) It was called to protest against the price hike in India specially against the petroleum prices.
