The water level in Yamuna river in Delhi is steadily rising. It crossed the danger mark of 204.83 meters on Thursday afternoon as Haryana released over eight lakh cusec water in the last two days from the Hatnikund barrage, causing it to swell.
It is now flowing close to one meter above the danger mark and officials fear that the level may even go upto 207 meters by Friday, which may flood low-lying areas.
