Swimmer Stephanie Rice is named as the sexiest sportswoman in the world. Stephanie was at No.30 in FHM magazine 100 sexiest women in the world in 2009 pipping tennis diva Ana Ivanovic for sport top place.
Australia’s golden girl Stephanie Rice is considering surgery on her right shoulder, forcing the swimmer to a reduced program at next week’s United States Pan Pac swimming competition.
Stephanie Louise Rice born on June 17, 1988 in Brisbane, Queensland is an Australian swimmer. She currently holds the world record in the 200 m and 400 m individual medley, and won three gold medals at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Rice swam a personal best in the 50-meter butterfly preliminaries on Wednesday at Pan Pacs, but won’t swim again at the year’s biggest international meet. By competing here, though, she had earned a spot on the team for Commonwealth Games to be held in Delhi, India.
Stephanie started her career in the year 2006. She won the gold medal in the 200m individual medley at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, Australia. In this event, she defeated Olympians Lara Carroll and Brooke Hanson in a time of 2:12.90. She also won gold medal in 400m individual medley.
