ntpccareers.net holds the NTPC Results 2010 and the results are available individually by entering the roll number of each candidate. Due to this form of result announcement it couldn’t be determined what the overall statistic of the result is and neither could it be determined what percentage of candidates would have to apply again for the job opportunity. At the moment it isn’t clear what other options the NTPC is giving to candidates who want to apply again or take the test again but it would soon be revealed whether the candidates who didn’t make it in this session would have a chance or if they would simply have to go home.
The NTPC is hiring trainee engineers who have done diploma in technical education where the diploma is usually of a three year duration in all fields of technology like mechanical, electrical, electronics and civil. The current recruitment of the NTPC called only for the technologies Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and C&I disciplines.
The technical diplomas are usually done after matriculation or ten years of education but due to the tough nature of the syllabus of the diploma some people prefer doing it after twelve years of education. The three years technical diploma is designed to produce technical professionals who are fit for rigorous industrial work and people who do these diplomas usually get trainee engineer or associate engineer positions in technical industries. The NTPC is just one of the many organizations who are in desperate need of good technical manpower.
