Indian Air Force Invites Enterprising & adventurous Engineers to join the Indian Air Force As Permanent/ Short Service Commissioned Officers in Technical Branches.
Applications are invited from Male and Female Indian Citizens for grant of Permanent/ Short Service Commission in Technical Branches of the Indian Air Force for the following courses:
No. 79 Aeronautical Engineers (AEC) (Permanent Commission for Men).  No. 51 Short Service Commission Course (SSC) For Men and Women Training Commencing in Jul 2011
Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics) (AE (L)
Qualification:
Candidates applying for AE (L) branch would be eligible if they have undergone a minimum of four year degree qualification and secured a minimum of 60% marks in all papers put together from a recognized university or cleared section A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineer (India) OR Aeronautical Society of Indian OR Graduate membership examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers by actual studies provided the candidate has studied at least eight subjects out of the list of eighteen subjects mentioned below:

Qualification:
Candidates applying for AE (M) branch would be eligible if they have undergone a minimum of four year degree qualification and secured a minimum of 60% marks in all papers put together from a recognized university or cleared section A and B Examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of Indian by actual studies with at least eight subjects out of the list of eighteen subjects mentioned below:

Age: Min 18 & Max 28 years as on 01 Jul 2011 i.e. born between 02 Jul 1983 to 01 Jul 1993 (both dates inclusive)

How To Apply:
Applications should be sent by Ordinary Post to the address as per the First Choice of centre of Written Examination of Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT). Alternately, application can be type od Hand written in A4 size paper. Applications must reach the concerened Command HQ on or before 7.9.2010. The following documents in original along with photocopies should be carried while reporting to Air Force Selection Board/ EKT Centres for Test.
a. Matriculation or School Leaving Certificate issued by the Board of Secondary Education as proof of Date of Birth.
b. Original/ provisional degree certificate and all semester mark sheets in original
c. In case of Final Semester/ Year students, a Certificate from the college principal clearly mentioning
