A statue of Dadoji Kondadev, was removed from Pune’s Lal Mahal and placed in a municipal garden near to the Pune Municipal Corporation office. A statue in Pune has created a political stir, Dadoji Konddev considered the 'guru' of Chhatrapati Shivaji, after more than 30 members of the Shiv Sena were detained for protesting against its removal.
