Marketic is more well known however, for her lawsuit against the sultan of Brunei, alleging that he forced her to act as a sex slave while under his employment as a model. Her case was thrown out of court because the ruling heads of state have immunity. However another woman who accused him of the same thing sued separately and won 500,000 pounds.
The Former 1992 Miss USA Shannon Marketic was arrested for shoplifting about $90 worth of Oil of Olay products from a Target in Texas. She is recently out on $500 bond, and it looks like her penalty could be anywhere from $50 to $500.
